Sunday Hymns - All the Way My Savior Leads Me

  1. All the way my Savior leads me,
    What have I to ask beside?
    Can I doubt His tender mercy,
    Who through life has been my Guide?
    Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
    Here by faith in Him to dwell!
    For I know, whate’er befall me,
    Jesus doeth all things well;
    For I know, whate’er befall me,
    Jesus doeth all things well.
  2. All the way my Savior leads me,
    Cheers each winding path I tread,
    Gives me grace for every trial,
    Feeds me with the living Bread.
    Though my weary steps may falter
    And my soul athirst may be,
    Gushing from the Rock before me,
    Lo! A spring of joy I see;
    Gushing from the Rock before me,
    Lo! A spring of joy I see.
  3. All the way my Savior leads me,
    Oh, the fullness of His love!
    Perfect rest to me is promised
    In my Father’s house above.
    When my spirit, clothed immortal,
    Wings its flight to realms of day
    This my song through endless ages:
    Jesus led me all the way;
    This my song through endless ages:
    Jesus led me all the way.

    Saturday Snapshots 2.23.13

    My little Jelly Bean started blowing kisses this week. The kisses are usually followed by a big "look what I can do" smile.

    Thankful Thursday 2.21.2013

    Colossians 3:15

    15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

    ***************************************************************************

    ~This past Sunday Pastor Nutter preached a sermon on remembering the Lord who is our help, which was a much needed reminder for me to take the time each week to  count my blessings.

    ~My little Jelly Bean, who will turn one next week, got his first tooth!

    ~I’ve been enjoying getting together with a group of ladies on Wednesday nights to knit.

    ~The blessing of modern technology. It is so nice to be able to listen to the sermons (that I miss most of while caring for the two little ones) during naptime on Monday, and to be able to watch my Dad and Pastor Douma’s sermons on YouTube.

    ~A little helper who loves to “pick up snow” with Daddy.

    ~Picking up a book that I purchased months ago but never read and finding that it is exactly what I need to read right now.

    ~The precious sound of a two-year-old singing “Trust and Obey” in his crib.

    Sunday Hymns - At Calvary

        Years I spent in vanity and pride,
        Caring not my Lord was crucified,
        Knowing not it was for me He died
        On Calvary!

            Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
            Pardon there was multiplied to me;
            There my burdened soul found liberty
            At Calvary!

        By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;
        Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,
        Till my guilty soul imploring turned
        To Calvary!

            Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
            Pardon there was multiplied to me;
            There my burdened soul found liberty
            At Calvary!

        Now I’ve giv’n to Jesus everything,
        Now I gladly own Him as my King,
        Now my raptured soul can only sing
        Of Calvary!

            Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
            Pardon there was multiplied to me;
            There my burdened soul found liberty
            At Calvary!

        Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
        Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
        Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span
        At Calvary!

            Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
            Pardon there was multiplied to me;
            There my burdened soul found liberty
            At Calvary!

    Sunday Hymns - Like a River Glorious

    Like a river glorious is God’s perfect peace,
    Over all victorious, in its bright increase;
    Perfect, yet it floweth fuller every day,
    Perfect, yet it groweth deeper all the way.

          Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
        Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

    Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
    Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
    Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
    Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

    Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
        Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

    Every joy or trial falleth from above,
    Traced upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
    We may trust Him fully all for us to do;
    They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true

    Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
        Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

    Sunday Hymns - The Blood Will Never Lose It's Power

    The blood that Jesus shed for me
    Way back on Calvary
    The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
    It will never lose its power.

    It reaches to the highest mountain
    And it flows to the lowest valley
    The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
    It will never lose its power.

    It soothes my doubts and calms my fears
    And it dries all my tears
    The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
    It will never lose its power.

    It reaches to the highest mountain
    And it flows to the lowest valley
    The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
    It will never lose its power.

    It reaches to the highest mountain
    And it flows to the lowest valley
    The blood that gives me strength
    From day to day
    It will never lose
    It will never lose
    It will never lose its power
