*A message from Nancy Leigh DeMoss that I really needed to hear today.
Your comments are such a blessing to me.
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. " Hebrews 10:23-25
Children and family are gifts and blessings from God {I am pretty sure home made zucchini bread fits in there as well!!}
ReplyDeleteMy memories of visiting with my grandparents came rushing back as I viewed the picture of your grandma. Each day with loved ones is a gift and should be cherished; before you know it, we fly away and all that is left are memories.
Thank you for these precious pics of loved ones and the memories they brought to mind. I remember holding my newborn son {25 years ago!}, not being a believer then, but my eyes were filled with tears as I held him, this tiny human life {he was about a month old} and thanking God for this child. Even in my unregenerate state, I had just enough 'light' to know God is the giver of all things.
Bless you dear mother, wife, and sister in Christ!
Lyn
Loved your thankful pictures! We need some new concrete too. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings sister!
Jessica,
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet pix. I just actually finished those 2 books. Superb! - got the heads up from Becky. Momentary Marriage is unique in its presentation and the typology is well stated. Joy - is the kind of book I need to read, re-read and re-read again. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we really got ahold of the concept that we can enjoy and trust Him in and through ALL things, good and bad, knowing that in the end- we will be with Him and everything else is vanity.
Blessings on you and your lovely home,
Grace, Peace and Joy,
Jojo

I haven't started Momentary Marriage yet but I am really enjoying Joy. I'm sure its one that I will read more than once.
