Lamentations 3:22-23 (King James Version)

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed,
 because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

This has been a really calm and beautiful week. Its finally spring here in MN and I've enjoyed getting out on long walks with Jojo almost every afternoon. The grass is turning green and the first few buds are showing up on the trees.
I'm so thankful for this calm and peaceful time, its such a blessing after a very difficult year.

Thank you to Lynn for hosting Thankful Thursday this month.

  2. Glad you're experiencing the calm. It's good to be thankful, isn't it? This is my first time linking to Thankful Thursday, but I pray it won't be my last. I'm just learning the art of thankfulness and really seeing how God is changing me through it. Great to read your post!

  5. We northerners are a hardy bunch, aren't we??! I think it gives us the edge when it comes to appreciating spring and summer! It's always such a treat.

I love that verse. One of the repeating themes in my prayer time each day is that I love how new-and-fresh-daily mercy and grace are part of God's awesome unchanging-ness! We are so blessed.

Your comments are such a blessing to me.

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
